Christianity Today’s Atheism Poll
The results of the Christianity Today Poll which asks if Atheism is “A major threat to Christianity” or “Just another religion” are startling:

It looks like 80,927 atheists turned out to kick ass, or else Christians really are fond of Atheism, a scenario I find highly implausible. Most likely it’s just a kid who wrote a script to find some proxies and record masses of fake votes, but it tickles the funny bone anyway.

This wasn’t a proxy, actually, they’re real votes. The poll was linked on a very popular image board (4chan), at which point people throughout the day voted. I happened across this page attempting to see if the results were still up on the original site.
So is it really accurate? Hope someone will be able to verify it.
I agree with Tion. it was a proxy. It was a real poll..
