I love Koontz’s books and have devoured each one like it was a big ball of cotton candy. I wish he wrote faster. If you haven’t guessed yet, I’m a voracious reader and I know there are others out there just like me. For those “in between” times, I’ve found some other series that I’ve gobbled up:

Tess Gerritsen’s Rizzoli and Isles
MA Comley’s The Justice Series
Linda Prather’s Jacody Ives Mysteries
Steve Berry’s Cotton Malone books

I’m inclined to agree… this seems to be more of a review of the Christian morales and his qualms with them. Rather than an actual review of the book.

I think he missed the entire point… in reality it doesn’t have much to do with actual Christianity. More to the point of having great and constant faith (not in Christ specifically), but more in one’s own values and virtue.

He tries to hard to over simplify something that turns out to be surprisingly deep and layered.

I have just finished reading this book and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Unlike some of Kings books, the action starts straight away and hooks you. I couldn’t put this book down and spent all day reading it until I finished it. I suppose if I were to level any criticism at the book it would be as to why certain things didn’t make sense – the rain at the beginning for instance. However this is now one of my favourite Koontz books after Watchers.

Fascinating interpretations of Salome. “Was she the innocent teenager, manipulated by Herodias?”
I have just completed two Digital ” Pictures”.
The” Penitence of Salome” and ” Judith and the Head of Holophernes”. The neighbours were very understanding and co-operated, Head on the Salver ( Neighbour) with another in Scarlet as Salome quite challenging expecially as the Light source was five hidden candle. Gordon Joslin

Spot on! Loved the book more than many other Koontz works, and i am a big fan of him.

I recently completed the inheritance cycle. There are no words to describe how amazing your books have been.
the ending you gave was terrefic, i liked it so much that i haven’t been able to sleep at all for 3 nights and keep on pondering about
what will happen next to eragon and sir according to me its better than Harry Potter Series as well as Percy Jackson Series.
thank you sir for gifting us, the readers with such a superb book.If only we could have met sir.

Does anyone know what is the book that Harrison Ford is holding? You can always make out which book it is in other posters.

I echo that. The “For America’s Libraries” are one of the best celebrity positive messages I know of. Orlando Bloom’s poster featured J.R.R. Tolkien’s works (of course!).
