Free Kindle Books

Amazon.com’s List

There are two ways to find free books for the Kindle on Amazon itself: tags and price. The most useful of the two methods is to search for the tag “kindle freebie”, which helpful community members have applied to over 1200 items. You can even sort this list by popularity to try and find the best freebies:

The other method you can use on amazon is to go to the Kindle books category, cheapest first to find the ones selling for $0.00. You will find tens of thousands of freebies, many of which may not interest you:

Feedbooks

The thing I like about FeedBooks is that you can get a number of different view and RSS feeds, such as their list of top books or new arrivals. All of the ebooks on this site are free downloads in ePub, Mobipocket/Kindle, PDF, Sony Reader, and iLiad formats:

I would personally recommend Ulysses, by James Joyce, Women in Love, by DH Lawrence, and Accellerando, by Charles Stross.

ManyBooks

ManyBooks is also not bad. They have a popular view, etc, offer some popular formats. The site is a bit harder to browse, but since the selection is different, there’s a good chance you’ll bump into something interesting to you.

Goodluck with your hunt for free ebooks on the Kindle! If you find any other great sources, please leave a link in the comments so other Kindle-lovers can hunt down the riches!
